• The Organic Consumers Association holds many claims that are not accepted by the current consensus, including the idea that fluoride is dangerous, 9/11 was a conspiracy, and homeopathy is effective. They occasionally promote anti-vaccine organizations.

• Their advisory board includes Vandana Shiva. Joseph Mercola is a regular contributor.
• The financial report showing nearly $800,000 worth of corporate contributions to the Organic Consumers Association has been removed from their website. A copy can be found on the Wayback Machine.

• On over 75% of food containing GMOs, it is difficult to verify this quote as no source was given for the information. It seems that about 60-70% of processed food contains at least one GE ingredient (National Institute of Health); however, meat from GMO-fed animals does not contain GMOs (GMO Answers). Only a few crops are genetically engineered (University of Florida).
